Frans van der Woude is Dutch, but has lived in Denmark since the 80s. He’s a farmer, but he’s also a painter and loves to shape and create things. He’s not fighting against hygge, but does feel that it’s closed to people outside who long for togetherness. That’s why he’s so passionate about creating community and bringing people together for dinners in The Boundless Kitchen.
The Boundless Kitchen investigates how food can be used as a social tool to create a forum where people from different cultural backgrounds can meet on common ground. In a society where it’s all too easy not to reach outside of one’s social circle, the Boundless Kitchen encourages communion and acceptance.
